a)  What is unusual about Amelia’s Antarctic expedition?

• The unusual point is her age since Amelia, a 16 years old teenage, will become the youngest person to ski in the South Pole.

b)  Explain two of the challenges Amelia will have to face on the Antarctic.

• In one hand, she will have to resist really harsh weather conditions such as strong winds and low temperatures. On the other hand, she will need to be able to face the 24-hour daylight which makes sleeping very difficult.
