a)  Describe ASIMO's appearance and its role with the Detroit Symphony

• ASIMO is a human-like robot, a bit short but equipped with a variety of abilities that make it able to conduct a whole orchestra with its own arms.

b) Explain why Monty needs to look more human

• Monty needs to have a humanoid appearance because of its purpose: to do the washing up. That's why it has to be tall enough to reach the sink and equipped with “hands” to hold the crockery.
